Idea's for our Film

One of our idea's was basing it on a saying or quote followed by a short storyline,
i researched saying's and have came up with a storyline for my favourite sayings, this will contribute to our final production.

You dont know what you've got until it's gone.

For Idea No1 based around "you don't know what you've got until it's gone." A simple storyline for this could be:
A man/woman who is fed up with their busy life, they've recently just had children and it struggling to cope with  responsibilities and still have quality time with his their partner. They wish on a coin that this never happened and went back to when he was happy. Once they go to sleep, they wake up to find no partner, no children. He/she enjoys at first until they pass their partner in the street and they doesn't recognise who they are, they try to get them to remember the person but fails. The man/woman tries to find the coin to undo the wish but fails, once they truely realise how much that persons family means to them it is all reversed and wakes up in bed back to normal.

For Idea No1 based around "you don't know what you've got until it's gone." A simple storyline for this could be based around younger characters.
A teenage boy/girl fed up with living at home, parents always walk in your room, embarrassing you infront of friends etc and in a heat of an arguement wishes they never existed. Not knowing that the family had told them they were going to visit they're grandparent's down London for a week, as they deleted text they sent without reading. The teenager wakes up to find an empty house, thinking he'd wished them away. They regret it and start to miss them texting and walking in on them etc. The last day wake up to find them all home.

Conclusion:

After reading through these two idea's i have decided that the second idea would be easiest to film as we are around the same age of the main character and would be able to find friends as actors or even do it ourselves. Also, i found our potential audience would relate to this more as every teenager argues with parents and wishes that they could move out, but after a while knows that it was a mistake.
